Do you even bother reading related threads on this forum before typing such nonsense? With Benchmade's new maximum 15% off pricing policy are they actually expecting dealers to charge $340 for that knife? It's nice and all but $270 more than standard version?

Every recent Benchmade related thread on this forum was accompanied by info about BM's pricing policy. MSRP - 15% is MAP. Each retailer is free to sell at prices they see fit. Without jumping through any hoops you can now purchase this knife with MSRP of $400 for a little over $250 at one of the web retailers. Not sure which threads you are refering to, but this my first encounter with a Gold Benchmade. My point is that the standard model is already a very well made knife of good quality materials. This model has great materials, but there isn't much higher they can go on fit and finish over the original. Just surprised that the materials cost would be that much.
This one's an automatic. No need for a waveWow! I think I'm lovin' this one! I think I would grind in an integral wave..... that would be sweet. The blade shape reminds me of the Spyderco Persian I really liked, but could not comfortably close one handed.

Cool - it has a nice look to it.

I'll bet it is nice in hand. How did the carbon fiber feel? I would think it would be almost eerily light.
best regards -

Eric, where do you buy this knife? I can't find it in Knifeworks.
