I just got mine #463....love the knife....finally got a Gold

Oh, and can anyone explain how, that my knife was finished on June 1st, got it from outfittercountry(ebay) on the 8th. Are companies drop shipping knives with Benchmade, or is BM making them as they are ordered?

Uh, I hate this so much, I love this knife but I don't have 350$-ish dollars to spend on things like this. This kind of sucks.

This is exactly what I like to see in a knife design; unfortunately as a gentleman's EDC it's to large. Maybe we could see something in the Benchmade 556 GOLD?

I'd buy tonight The Benchmade Model 706-02 McHenry & Williams, who's got one? My preference would have been a rich purple instead of the baby-blue, but hey we can't have everthing. :foot:

Every recent Benchmade related thread on this forum was accompanied by info about BM's pricing policy. MSRP - 15% is MAP. Each retailer is free to sell at prices they see fit. Without jumping through any hoops you can now purchase this knife with MSRP of $400 for a little over $250 at one of the web retailers.

If only this was still true...

Might have to pick one of these up secondhand, I wonder how much they are going for now...
