PayPal is jacked. It now holds a percentage of funds per month until you can explain what funds are from. Or it did last time I used it. F PayPal
 
Im still interested in this knife but thus guy is throwing up all the red flags and has gone radio silent
 
Esquire1954 Esquire1954 is this knife still for sale and if so can you post photos of the open knife from both sides as well as the box it came in if you have that?
 
The sheer volume of red flags, the lack of forthcoming photos of the knife, the need for immediate money yet no response to the post for several days and the paypal hold on his account, coupled with a newly joined member with no feedback and under 50 posts and all post history in the exchange makes this an extremely high high risk purchase. If this knife was actually sold, i fully expect to see a GBU thread in the coming weeks.

Absolutely agree. Hope it's not so but as you said, just too much going on here. It's really not hard to see either. People just get caught up in the want and the price.
 
I actually paid for this knife (good and services) and was told there was a “hold on the funds for a week.” I demanded and received a refund immediately. But no one is selling even used infidels for under $225. When asked to show photos of the rear of the knife the photo was in the closed position and with a different background as the open position.

Am I saying this guy is trying to pull a scam? No. Am i advising using extreme caution in this case? Yes 100%.
Hopefully the buyer took the proper precautions and will get a great knife at an excellent price but my gut feeling tells me otherwise and I feel like I dodged a bullet here.

I sold the knife to a greatful buyer "Thank you for send such a excellent condition knife" with no PayPal problems from his account, I've had like 649 Ebay sales as PDH.251 so I'm glad you all had a "holier than thou" attitude and I didn't sell to anu of you, I never want to deal with anyone here again...
