Benchmade Lifesharp.... disappointed.

Got my 940-2 back with all new blade and I was very surprised. It came with a the best factory bevels (albeit a bit steep for my liking but it came perfectly centered, even bevels, as well as properly sharp (all my way Benchmades came sharp but not hair splitting sharp compared to Spydercos edges from the factory) which was a surprise. Recently got a vanilla 940 which had a good grind at the top and narrowed down to a far steeper grind about halfway to the base of te blade. Setting a steep 15 secondary bevel there at this moment because it's unacceptable Very poor cutting action like this.

In contrast this new blade was as perfect as I can hope for from the factory.
Also, it seems benchmade got it sharpened properly on a first pass, instead of where my new 940 already lost a bit of metal leaving less play for reprofiling and getting chips out of the blade while keeping a decent amount of workable steel.
Not the case here.

Honestly unevenly ground edges are the least concern of quality issue for me, as compared to other issues like blade off centered, up and down blade play, scratches, bad heat treat, and lock travel/slip (on framelock). I am not acusing Bm of these issues as all my Bm folders are excellent.
