I could see paying a little more for that one. I'm sure we have all done that once or twice :D They are probably one of the coolest looking knives BM has made...

The sheath is from the 162-1
I ordered a new one from Benchmade, as well as new leather sheath, since I sliced the original one.
These things are just too sharp!
 
Nothing much to see here. Just another 943 in 154CM that's basically been carried daily for over 10 years. :eek: :cool:



I melted about 1/8" of the tip off of it awhile back cutting a shorted Li-ion battery out of an r/c airplane. :eek: Re-ground a new tip, and it is almost as good as new.

I always wondered how well the finish on those would hold up after a few years of carrying and use. Looks like it has held up very well...
