Benchmade Sibert 755 MPR

Mine arrived within days of my lamentations over it's absence last April. It would prove to be a sad day for my BM 630 Skirmish and 710 D2, not to mention the JYDII in Ti/SG2 and other EDC choices... the 755 has been my EDC 90% of the time since I bought it. Still love it - can't imagine it failing the spine whack test - seems solid to me. My only CRK is a Wilson Combat 'StarTac' Umnumzaan - great knife - love it, too. If lost, I'd miss the MPR more!

Seanski, why did you re-open this thread after a almost a year? You just cost me a couple hundred.

Never came across this knife before. Saw this thread yesterday, and knew I just had to have one. Awesome looking piece of work.

Using up one of last year's remaining vacation days today, ran to the local supplier this morning, and picked one up :D

Thanks, man!

I wanted one but it is ridiculously thick...I'd rather carry just about anything.

Same here. I traded for one recently. Opened the box, held it for about 5 seconds and immediately traded it away. Quite possibly the least comfortable tool I've ever held in my hands. YMMV, of course.

To each their own. :)

I like substantial feeling/looking folders and really do not like much at all , thin un-substantial folders.

I love the feel and heft of a big folder. I've got 4lbs of ZT030x's sitting here on my desk right now! :)

But the 755 has all the ergonomics of a little brick in my giant hands. If I had smaller hands, it might be a different story. It's definitely not a knife that I'd recommend that someone buy without handling first.
