Benchmade VS Spyderco

Echo... echo.... echo.....

("not again" is right)

I like both, for different reasons. Today I've got my Spyderco Police. Yesterday I carried my 710.
If you perform a **search** you'll probably find my response to the last inquiry of this type, along with everyone else's, so I'm not going to get into it again.

Without the competition neither company would be what it is today.
Personally, I admire Spyderco for better innovation and price control.

Threads like this should be disallowed. Didn't we have this often enough? At least do a damn search before you start a thead with potential for a pissing contest :jerkit:.

Thankfully, the courtesy on this forum is so high that the likelyhood of a fight braking out is pretty low .

I think that these two companies have different fans. These who love benchmade don't like spyderco and the opposite.

I don't think that is the case at all. IMO, they both make good products.
Whats not to like?

Wait, why Gerber and United are not in the running? I mean, really if you want the best... :D

I have both BM and Sypderco knives, but then again so does most people. But I think I like my Spyderco knives better, just a little though.

It is like having to choose between your children, I love them both but for entirely different reasons.

I think that pretty much says it for me. :)

Nothing wrong with Benchmade, i own a few, but my vote goes to Spyderco.

It probably has something to do with the fact that my first decent knife was a Spyderco and I've never lost my fascination for their products.

with the limitations, there's no way you'd get results if you typed benchmade and spyderco into the search :p, but this is a well beaten horse corpse

Own both but I tend to lean more to the Benchmade over the Spyderco. I really like the axis lock.
