New knives with poor centering, blade play mostly. Also omega springs breaking quickly.
I just got my Osborne 940 in yesterday but it came with a 943 blade but under the benchmade logo 940 is stamped! Any comments
I have owned quite a few benchmades in my life, and ive never had a single issue. Theyre always perfect as they should be.
People saying benchmade has QC issues seem much more an anomaly than the usual.
More issues then in the past. 20%-30% rise in cost to buy from authorized dealers. These things are undeniable facts.
I love my 810, 710, and 860. All the others I owned got sold. If Benchmade wants more of my money they need to improve QC and rethink their pricing to what you get ratio.
I emailed Benchmade about a Deep Carry clip...they asked what color, and sent it out, no charge.

Do we even know this even happened? A new member with all of two posts makes this claim, Provides no proof by way of pictures and stops answering questions when asked.
Is is fair at this point to continue to give the benefit of the doubt under these circumstances? I will reserve judgement until I see some proof from the OP.
Too many of these threads start the same way. A very new member makes a claim, disappears and people continue to take the complaint as fact.
And BTW, what ever happened to contacting the seller / manufacture to try and resolve your issue BEFORE starting a thread? That starting a thread was a last resort, not the first? That concept seems to have gone by the wayside in this sub forum.
I really wish we had an active mod / company rep here to address these thing's and maintain sub forum etiquette.
BTW: Benchmade: I would be happy to be your moderator!![]()
Some folks have been having issues. Since June 2015 I have bought a 531, 14715, 14716, 485.
Please post pictures.
