Glad to hear you're on the mend. Take care and get lots of rest, you will be swinging khuks again in no time.
 
And hopefully performing his duties as HI Research Librarian. Berk could find anything and everything. I can find nothing. Let's see. Where did I put my cigarettes?

Yesterday the mail brought a very special "get-well" gift, a kagas katne from a fellow forumite who wrote that "having a new khukuri - even a small one-will help to cheer you up." How right he was:)! Have walked the two blocks to the pharmacy to refill my pain meds (talk about an incentive to exercise;) ). Am rebuilding my appetite after almost a month without solid food by tucking into big helpings of Dorothy's home cooking. Still have a long way to go - probably a month or more before I can get back to work, and even longer till I can get back to playing with khukuris, but have learned some much-needed patience. All in all I am learning to appreciate the words of the Psalmist:
This is the day that the Lord has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Although I'm not a Christian and to me the Bible is just another book I still believe that Jesus was one of the world's greatest Medicine Men.
"Take no thought for tomorrow for the evil of today is sufficient." goes right along with what you said Berk.
One takes great learning from whatever source it may be IMO.:) :cool:

And if we could just learn to apply all those good teachings to our lives we would all be well, ainnit?;) :)
