America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Terava Skrama 240 mm
Yes, it is no match for Medium Chopper, or Behemother, but for a 1/10 of the price, it can do a job.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have CPK Chopper, but after taxes, it would be nice too much.
I am still kicking my own ass for not picking up a Browning Crowell Barker chopper, when it was available at one local online shop....
IRRC, it's for fixturing the blade during heat treatment. Other than that, you can hang a blade like a big meat cleaver on it on some object. What is the hole near the tip for?
I've got one too, and it's a really great deal for the money. Excellent backwoods piece even without considering the money...![]()

I believe it’s hickory (the heart wood I think), definitely darker than some of the others I’ve seen. What kind of wood is that handle?
