Les George in Magnucut. I’ve never tried this steel, seems to take a very fine edge well. Looking forward to seeing how long this one cuts.
I picked up one of these too. I did a little bit of branch clean up, carving, and food prep (on a plastic cutting board) with it so far. The edge doesn't seem to be affected at all with anything I've done. It's .18 thick and 62-63rc according to castlegate.

I was kind of curious to take the scales off.

I am a big fan of the puukko and regardless of what else that I have on my belt, in my pocket, or in my pack, I always have a puukko on my belt - more specifically, the one pictured below. I love the history, its cultural significance, and that it is a simple, yet comfortable and effective cutting tool.

This one was made by Tommi Mäkelä with a bog oak handle and a blade forged by his good friend and fellow puukko maker, Saku Honkilahti. I have a few puukkot but this one is my go-to as it sports a thicker handle than a lot of them do and it is simply a delight to work with.

Ed Martin Search and Rescue. S30V, mortised handle. Kind of like a much lighter Randall Fireman’s Knife. A humble, workmanlike blade. Unbelievably sharp convex grind. My first EMK. Sold on his convex grind, for real.

Two O1 Turleys of mine. They are out for kydex now. Top is a mini z-sere prototype or as I call it “my pocket khukri.” Bottom one is a Kunar River and it is one of the sharpest knives I have ever used. It’s freakish. I know they’re all beat up but that’s only because they’re so much fun.
