Same….one I deeply regret selling was a BM-e in the very early 2000s.

New to me "small" beast from DanitzKnives ... bought this beginning of April, but seen only yesterday, when it came from the sheath-maker. Love it.

Here’s a Philip Dunn Huntsman he made me first of this year. Hollow ground D2 (Bohler K110) with the thinnest edge of any non-kitchen knife I own…like flex the edge on your fingernail thin. About 4 3/8” tip to scales. Really well made, both the knife and sheath.

Scales are camel shin bone. Color turned out somewhat blah for my wants…raw material looked a bit more promising. Always a hard choice when you get to pick! I prefer choosing finished knives in that respect.

Anyway, looking forward to putting this to use this fall. Very comfortable in hand.

For some reason I was thinking the DS6 was more on par with the FK2, but it's not. I grabbed my HDFK and was like "" so many similarities between the two.

Gorgeous lines to that knife! I love an heirloom fit handle and the spacers are a subtle but great little add on.
