I’ve got one of those somewhere. It was my pack knife back in my rock climbing days.Gerber Blackie Collins river blade. Was my primary whitewater tool since the early 90s. Don't boat any more, but this thing has always been within arm's reach, residing in my mudroom EDC drawer (mostly my hot tub and kiddie pool sharpened companion). Aside from a Spyderco Rescue, it's my oldest user.
(RIP Walter, 2010/2011 if I remember correctly)

I looked at his site- really great looking knives. Hard to imagine him turning out such quality at such a young age.I just got another in from a maker that I've become quite enthused with. Fred Siimes, from Ontario. I didn't know until recently that he is only 19 years old but he makes a hell of a good knife - this will be my third one of his.
