Couldn't agree more. I have really put mine through the paces; including rough batoning knotted hardwood, processing a muddy red stag, chopping sand encrusted tree roots, demolition tasks, even cutting rock and sand impregnated landscaping cloth.

It's held up admirably and the only task that cause very minor edge rolls was chopping those tree roots. The edge dulled a fair bit on the landscaping cloth, but that's to be expected the same way you expect tires to lose tread.

If I were only allowed to grab a single blade it would be the sdfk.

I'm definitely becoming a fan of work tuff gear for larger blades though. If really like to try some of their knives in k340, which is supposed to be close to cruwear, z-wear, and pd#1, with more toughness and less wear resistance.

I only have the v44x (top pic: 10 inch-ish blade) and pathfinder (12 inch blade)in sk85 since my kodiak in k329 went to my brother.

Totally . Decided to keep and use the NFNO and the HR2 . Not clear there is much room between the 6.5 and 8” busses to add a 7” knife but dying to try a larger CPK .

The DEKs have pretty much locked up the smaller fixed blade category for me

Now working on the folders . Def gonna try to snag one of Nathan’s next year, if at all possible .
