(Vidar has the runs ....)

Still like my Cheburkovs. For all you Shiro lovers, might want to try a Russian fixed blade. If you do some research, you'll find that Cheburkov traveled across Asia to learn about different local traditionals which he used in his designs.

I'm having a couple of small blades built by Josh, navman navman , whose work I've been intending to support for a while now. Always happy to support someone who served, and continues to serve his country...and who makes nice knives to boot.

Looking forward to these...and have been wanting to try something in 4V, just because.

They'll both get some micarta installed along the way.

This one is chisel ground 4V @ 3.5" or so.

This one is S90V at about 3.25" or so.

Very nice, and tapered tangs I imagine.

4V you say?
The FedEx truck dropped off a huge piece of 4V just this minute at my house.
It's 23.5" x 2.5" x 0.195" and I'm using all of it!
They say "Never go full retard", but with the Outlaw cut at CPK rapidly approaching, I'm going to do just that. I'm hoping that Peters' can turn it around quickly enough if I get it profiled today.

Stay tuned for the FR16...
