Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

Huntsman Fell beast?
Yessiree, love it ! It’s not a Behemoth Chopper that I’d want to whack through a Redwood with but she excels at machete-like duties. Blade steel is Z-tuff and stock is thick enough that I don’t worry about warping or breaking the blade either. That said, I really do miss my CPK Choppers.

Yeah I can't imagine there are very many things that compare to a behemoth chopper. It's so well balanced. It's probably my favorite large knife. I don't know how it could get any better!

I’ve been using mine on dry palm leaves and green palm branches and I have yet to find anything that cuts through them as smooth as the Fellbeast. Single stroke cuts is the norm and this is some nasty stringy abrasive stuff.. Truly a machete on steroids which is rare in the world of high end chopping knives.

Had to check out this Axial Alpine Ultralight, not only is it made by a great group of guys, it’s under 2 ounces for a blade over 3”. Got it today and even in hand I don’t know what kind of witchcraft they used to get it this light, will eventually pop the scales to see what’s under the hood.

Given the materials and sheath quality it’s a bargain for such a highly engineered US made knife 👍🏼

Looking forward to making a pocket sheath for it some day.
