Who’s the maker of the Lever Action?
Looks like it's a marlin. Barrel says Mayodan, NC. That's where ruger makes marlin rifles. Not sure if all their models come out of there though.Who’s the maker of the Lever Action?
Very nice!

Thank you for always including the maker and model. Too many others are simply ding dong ditch. Thanks R!![]()
(TK Steingass Silent Hunter with 4.5" AEB-L blade; he doesn't do a lot of utility knives > 4" - I remember I was very happy when this one came up.)
Thanks for the reply and good to hear Ruger is putting out good stuff! Thanks!
It's the Marlin 1895 16.1" barrel 45-70 made under the new Ruger ownership. Just installed the FDE furniture and a Midwest Ind Aimpoint mount with co-witness peeps along with a 3.5# Timney trigger.
I've been wanting one of the Ruger made Marlin's since they launched and this doesn't disappoint. I have a pre-Remington Guides Gun 45-70 I've owned 15-20 years, and this one is better.

I shot Cowboy Action Shooting for 15 years and am a certified lever action nut job!Got the Marlin 1895. It’s a mother of a rifle! The cartridge alone speaks wonders!
Got the 45 long colt in 16” trapper, case hardened, it’s gorgeous, that’s something to admirer with awe too.

That’s a beautiful rifle
I roll my own 45-70’s and won a number of 100 yard side matches hitting a 6” plate with open sites.
45-70 and 45LC are amazing for their ability to both shoot soft and straight or drop the biggest animals on the planet.
