Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

I don't understand why they're doing the Earth thing like they did with the stupid 80's movie. Just set it on Eternia and be done with it.
Because writers these days suck.

I'm betting he-man isn't even in it until the last 10 minutes or something. They're trying to set it up for sequels and turn it into the next avengers.

I'm OK with that. Then my nearly full set of the 80's toys will be worth much, much more money!!! I wonder if I can sell that stuff here in Gadgets and Gear? 🤔

100% agree. One of the reasons I think it will suck. It's a tired movie trope that they can't seem to let go of.

I thought I saw "He-Man" in the trailer, or some scrawny excuse of him. I am not hopeful. The movie is most definitely going to be that "Type 2" kind of fun.

Sure, rub it in why don't ya. 😁

It’s (checks calendar) the 21st Century, so “He-Man” will be a weak secondary character that takes a back seat to a fierce girl boss. See the last Mad Max, the last Indiana Jones movies, the last Star Wars movies, etc., etc, for examples.

And he'll have some sort of disability, and Skeletor will just be a poor neglected kid with Daddy issues. And She-Ra will be the only one with a brain, because of course.

They already kind of did that though in an animated series that was set up as a "sequel" in 2021. He-Man dies right in the beginning and Teela takes a front and center role. I think I only watched the first season; I was irritated that they presumably killed off He-Man (I believe they brought him back in later seasons).

Edit: Apologies to any onlookers who are thinking, "What's with these dorks?!". It's just childhood nostalgia at play.

Embrace the nostalgia...

As a child of the 80s myself, I'm curious who your favorite he-man and transformers characters were.

So I thought I'd try one of the mini-MSIs. Overall, I want to like it.

Unfortunately, I taught myself to close these on the full-sized MSI, by pulling the switch and swinging it closed. That works on the slightly larger version, but on this one, I can't seem to not do this:

Every time I pick it up, I tell myself not to close it that way. And then I do.

I don't think this is going to work out.
