Best 3-4" fixed blade survival/outdoors knife

Reprofiling a Condor.... just depends on what you like. If you buy the blade and feel the edge and it is real sharp on one side and much less on the other, I would carefully resharpen and get the edge even. That is re-profiling. You can still cut with it if it's sharp regardless.
 
Mora's are designed to be cutters and carvers. Not sharpened prybars. I have done light batoning with my Mora Clipper with no issues. I don't abuse them.

Heavy work gets directed to my Kabar Cutlass Machete and the Kabar JAB Potbelly.

I think the idea of getting a Clipper and a Condor Bushlore is a good one.
