Best $50 workhorse ?

The JYD seems more artsy than pure workhorse. The liner lock seems fine though

I know what you're saying, I'm usually skeptical of knives that look kind of flashy myself. But it seems just about everyone likes the ergonomics of the JYD2. I even like the heavily-styled clip, which is very comfortable when the knife is gripped and adds to the ergos.

The lock bar on the JYD2 is .070" thick, practically a frame lock. It's a serious tool.

Of those, I prefer the Grip. But as already noted, it's not found in th $50 range anymore.

Also check out the AG Russell Featherlite. It's a good hard worker for $50.00.
