What's the best action you've felt on a knife to date? I like my bmk ether, with the slightest amount of pressure on blade hole it snaps open and drop shut action. Haven't felt too many like it and looking for more. Blade holes/fuller, blade hole with thumb studs are my top! Also bestech taipan is another amazing one

Kershaw Strobe.

I feel like anything with metal scales and bearings is going to be pretty good, as long as the factory can make sure everything is flat and parallel within 0.005 or so.

My Artisan Cutley Holm is very smooth in both directions, and I'm wondering if it's a difference about button locks.

Longer/thicker blades are going to run better because they have more inertia. My CJRB Tundra drops shut and flips with authority.

Cold Steel 4Max action is nothing special, but the "CLACK" it makes when it locks open will get people's attention!

I had a WE Deacon that was really smooth. I gave it to my niece who was going away to college and she liked the purple.

Once I cleaned the black gunk out of the pivots, my Biryukov are pretty smooth.

Now, I have some knives on washers that are great too. Chiefly the Spyderco Kapara and Bailey model 2.
