Best Assisted Openers

I just learned about the Random Leek....I like it wayyyy more than the regular Leek....has a beautiful blade and S30V...
125 is pretty steep though.

I had a regular Leek which malfunctioned... so I sent it back for repairs. Kershaw let me *upgrade* to the Random Leek for a mere 30 bucks! (I sent back my defective knife, with a check for 30 bucks... they sent me a brand new Random Leek)

So, that's about 70 dollars invested, in one of the coolest knives ever made. (IMO) I love Kershaw's Customer Service Department. They are one of the few companies left that still put in the extra effort to please the customer!

I have had a Kershaw Boa, Chive, Whirlwind, three Scallions. Two SOG Flash II's, Twitch, Twitch II, Twitch XL, Blink. I now only have a SOG Flash II, one Kershaw Scallion, and one SOG Twitch II. The Scallion has a great ergonomic design, the Flash II is a great knife that takes a lot of abuse, and the Twitch II is my stand in small Sebenza, for now.

How could I forget my Benchmade Apparition? It's one of my favorites right now!

I just got a Benchmade Apparition yesterday, and I am loving it. Sooo smooth.

The optimizer system is sweet, being able to go back and forth bewteen assisted and non-assisted opening is an awsome option.

For AO, I have the following:

Benchmade Apparition
Camillus Heat
SOG Trident
Kershaw Leek
Kershaw Rainbow Leek

I like 'em all. The Apparation feels solid and springs out nicely and smartly. I like the index opens of the Heat and Leeks. The thing is, though --- and I discussed it here in the forums before --- I really like to have a safety on an AO. The Apparation and Heat, as nice as they are, don't have a safety.

Maybe I shouldn't be too active with a knife in my pocket (quick game of one-on-one basketball, play 'rasslin' and sparring, batting practice), but I just don't like the possibility of the knife opening accidentally. I've run through realistic play-making scenarios to where the knife can accidentally open. For example, if you move a certain way in some sports, the index can snag on something and open.

Two best flippers you can get IMO (actually faster than assisted openers)
