Just curious to see what do people personally think is the best/favorite buck knife. Mine is the Cabela's buck 110.

whats different about the Cabelas Buck 110 from other Buck 110's?

Another fan of the 110. I have a Schrade "version", and the Bucklite version, but I still want a 110.
In brass. And nickel. And one with stag scales. And ivory. And pachmayr. And an automatic...

My favorite Buck is a 301 Stockman.

But I often carry a Buck Vantage Pro. The heat treat Paul Bos developed for Buck on S30V is top notch.

Bucklite Max679. Its a sub 25$ blade that kick ass and is USA made.

Really like the Buck Vantage Pro in S30v, it is a fantastic heat treat and that thing comes sharper than some $200 knives I've gotten from the factory. I like everything about that knife: the size, the grip, the blade profile, the deep carry pocket clip, the flipper mechanism.

Also like the Selkirk fixed and folder designs, though sadly made in China. I've posted elsewhere they should take that great Selkirk fixed design, give it their great s30v steel, and make it in the US.

well the Buck 110 is the best lockback that has ever and will ever be made, so that's definately my favorite.
For a modern Buck know my favorite is the 482.

I haven't owned a Buck fixed blade yet, but am Getting a 119 with lefty sheath from a forum member and since it's the Buck fixed blade I've had the most interest in getting or really only one I've listed after I think I can say it's probably my favorite Buck fixed blade.

110, I suppose. I carried one for many years but recently the only Buck I carry is the Marksman.

How many other lockbacks have you used and compared it to?

More than a few, not that it really matters.
The Buck 110 is #1 ,more are sold every year than any other lockback in history and I'm sure that's how it always will be.
I probably should've said most popular or most iconic, instead of best.
