Why not the Team Gemini? Integral guards make it pretty suitable for that application. And the BARF is pretty darned stabby.

Variant....what does that mean? I mean I know normally it means variation of...then again Busse knives and logic are anything but normal...

Personally, I'm hoping my DCBJ comes with a great tip on it. I've seen them range from butter-knife like to spear/bowie.

One of my favorites for sticken, ST-56!!! Yes I know it has a choil, anybody with common sense will go into the choil and back sharpen the blade side of it if it's intent was the topic. Don't mean to sound crass but the choil thing seem to always show up.
