Best EDC for $150 or under

Hi
I have about 150 to spend on a knife and want the best value and feaures. I want just plain edge.
Thanks

Snipa,

I assume you posted in the Spyderco forum because you want a Spyderco EDC knife?

I see a lot of recommendations in this thread that are not Spyderco.

What blade length?

In addition to the Caly 3 and 3.5 CF with ZDP-189 you can also get the Caly 3.5 with G-10 & VG-10 and save some bucks plus sharpens easier. You can get a Caly anywhere from $109 to $145 depending on the model.

My favorite is the Gayle Bradley. Wish it was legal to carry in Delaware where I work. I was carrying GB everyday until I found out the blade needs to be 3" or less . Need to find some thing I like. Do not like the feel of the native. Been EDCing My G10 Dragonfly. The Dragonfly is ok but I feel there is something better. The GB gets EDCed when I'm off work, I don't live in Delaware.

Techno,Gayle Bradley,Caly 3,Dragonfly 2 ZDP,..... so many choices.Mine right now is the Techno and GB for heavier duty.

Threads like this crack me up. :) Get a Delica (or an Endura if you want a larger knife) and save the rest of your money. If you insist in spending it all, the Para 2 is hard to beat.

Just recently added a Domino to the collection, and though a little more than your imposed cost limit, it is one sweet knife. Staying under $150, I think the PM2 or the Native 5 would be my choice. Though I still would probably end up doing what I do now, and EDCing the regular old Endura. I just don't care if I beat it up - might not feel that way about some of my spydies.

For your viewing pleasure, and to compare size

Police
Military
Endura
PM2
Domino
Native 5

I have carried a delica for a few years now and it has been great to me. Highly recommend it. Also in terms of a non spyderco, you cant go wrong with a griptilian.

There are sooooo many great knives on the market for under $150, and the list explodes if you increase the budget to around $200. Anyway, since you asked this question on the Spyderco sub-forum, you can't go wrong with the PM2!

Out of what I have for spydies I would say the Bradley. I don't have a caly 3.5 yet though... Russ

For $150 you can get a Endura and a Delica ....
Both very light and durable EDC ..
My 2 favorite's.

PM2
Sage 2
Cali 3.5

Depends on how they feel to you. I just gave a friend a Native 5, a fine blade.

Paramilitary 2 or One of the Sages depending on which handle material and lock you prefer.
