Best edge for hunting and butchering game?

Given my experience with Bark River and Blackjack by Bark River knives - all of which are convexed regardless of the steel - high carbon, tool and stainless - being the sharpest out-of-the-box I have ever encountered, I prefer the convex edge. Bark River gets them scary sharp, the edges are strong in terms of resisting chipping and rolling; and they are very easy to sharpen with my Worksharp or with a stropping block and a couple of small blocks of sharpening material when in the field. With the Worksharp, I finish the knives off with the 6000 grit for the final finish and hone. Given that I hate dull knives almost as much as I hate hornets, I've been very satisfied with my results on Busses or any other brand of knife, folding or fixed blades, that I own.
