Best/favorite stockman?

Don't know if the the best one out there but I've been happy with my Queen 4" D2 stockman.

My favorite today...

Just arrived from Bill.
A Queen 4" in BEM.
And the BEM is dark with an almost green hue to the wood.
Very nice indeed!

Now I need at least an hour to rebevel the three blades!

My favorite is my Boker Appaloosa Bone stockman. It is a great knife. My second favorite is a yellow handled Ranger with black carbon blades. It will take a razor edge and hold it for a while. It was my great-grandads. I don't carry it that much because it is really special to my dad.

I only own two knives in this pattern. Neither sees much pocket carry because I prefer the utility of SAKs but both are very well made and, in the case of the Schrade, somewhat unusual.

This USA-made Schade has Delrin scales, brass bolsters, and a neat serrated sheepsfoot that makes short work of cardboard. It also has a leather punch (I use it to make sparks with a firesteel) in place of a spey blade. I *think* this pattern can be called a 'cattleman' rather than a stockman but I'm happy to be corrected.

This is a CV-bladed Case. It was my first-ever CV knife; I've subsequently bought a slimline trapper and a sodbuster with CV blades. I love that steel and wish it was used on a Barlow pattern (if it is, I haven't found one).

I have a Case 6347 with 154 CM blades that is just awesome. Perfect fit and finish and razor sharp blades with great snap. It is a hardworking knife. They are hard to find, but will run you about $100. Very much worth the money. Another favorite is the classic 3318 in CV with yellow handles. You cant beat it for under $30.00

Another great one is AG Russell's stockman with india stag and BG 42 blades - very well-made knife with scary sharp blades.
