Best Folding Knife Action You've Ever Felt

3 knives that i own really stand out. 1st a third Gen 550, I just touch the thumb stud and the blade flys out on it's own! 2nd a Reate D9 Tanto, same thing, seems like the blades all recoiled up waiting to jump out! 3rd A Carson Tech Boiling, the perfect amount of detent, bearing smoothness, and blade length. You can't get it to screw up if you try!

I have a bunch.....don't really enjoy slow or tough opening knives.
Standouts: Brous VR-71...that blade literally flies out silently!
ZT 450, 452 and CF 562....they feel assisted....love the THWACKS!!
Spydie Domino and black Southard....just flat out awesome!
CKF Sukhoi Gen 2.....doesn't get much smoother.....wish they put an edge on it tho.

Best flipper action for me would be the ZT 0454.
Best thumb flicker would be the Emerson Iron Dragon.

1. Kershaw R.A.M
2. Bradford Guardian 3 Flipper (Nice Strong detent)
3. ZT 0801

I avoid flippers/flickers but I do appreciate a smooth opening knife. Best I can recall has been Al Mar SERE 2000, Benchmade's 710 and 908/909 Strykers, Spyderco Gayle Bradley and ZT 0550. The ZT 0550 is a bit big for me to carry these days but it is the smoothest of them all...it almost glides open by telepathy.

I am a fan of the BM Axis-lock action and button-lock on all the Hogues I have handles. The Southern Grind Bad Monkey has a very nice action in the liner-lock category. Spyderco PM2 has a nice action as well. I have always had good luck with Strder when it comes to frame-lock knives. All mentioned were very "flickable" if you like that sort of thing.

Brous Mini Division by far my best flipper .

I agree, Brous flippers have a smooth action.
But my ZT0452CF has been used and flipped a lot and has never, ever, needed an adjustment. It's still exactly as it was when it came out of the box! Every knife I own has first of all needed some tweaking new, but this one is exactly the same as received except for a few stroppings.
Other than that, my Olamic Wayfarer is buttery smooth.

Shirogorov F95 and Todd Begg Steelcraft Kwaiken are the smoothest I have. Something about those loose bearings.

Here's my top candidates for best/smoothest action/lockup etc. without any bladeplay:
No order whatsoever either.

Kershaw Steve Seagull (only pic of it; sorry):

Hogue EXO1 4" blade tanto, aluminum handle version. Mental how well these operate for the price.

Benchmade 760BK. Sebenza smooth; but flickable... ;):D

My first generation gayle bradley action is as smooth as butter on glass coated in teflon bacon grease. ;):D

Benchmade Bedlam 860BK; so smooth it chopped my fingers/hands multiple times in use due to how fast it opens and closes. Unpredictable + user error = stiches LOL.

These two are blast to mess around with due to the "assisted" opening ;):

Production - Reate/Mah Warrior 1

Higher end - Tie between a Voorhies M9, Galyean JYD and a Jared Price Bowie. All are/were equally impressive in their own right, no clear winner.
