Best Folding Knife for Bushcraft, Campcraft, and EDC?

Suprised nobody has mentioned the Svord Peasant knife. Check the review on youtube by bushcraft bums. Got mine from fortytwoblades (excellent service) with the special option and it came shaving sharp.

Do some research on the Svord Peasant knife. It is not pretty, or modern, or appealing to everyone, but it gets the job done. Simple = Strong.

I'm sorry, what?

If you know how to shop, for less than $100.00 you can have all three of these bushcraft capable items; together, they will provide for 150% of all your back country and EDC needs.;)

If I could find those three for under 100.00, I'd be a VERY happy camper. I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm just not that lucky.

I'd take a small fixed blade like the Bk-11/14/24 or Izula 1/2. If a folder is required Ontario Rat 1, Esee Avispa, Kershaw Cyro 2, or Bm 550 series

Will a folder work in bushcraft scenarios? Sure. Will it last? Definitely not. I understand carrying a folder for edc (ontario rat 1 for me- cheap, and can take a beating) but when it comes to bushcraft tasks like batoning and chopping and what have you, you really need a fixed blade. Preferably full tang, rat tail tang and 3/4 tang will still work, but I wouldnt abuse them as much. For example, I own a KABAR Becker BK7, for my camp knife. The knife goes all the way through the handle, and is super tough. I have a kabar Mark 1 for my utility/backup bushcraft knife, with the rat tail tang—I don't baton with it though. And I have a mora bushcraft black, which is 3/4 tang and surprisingly can take a beating. I've batonned (sp?) with it plenty of times and it hasn't gotten loose. (Sometimes I use the mora instead of the bk7 when I want something lighter).

IF you do end up looking into kabar becker, I'd stay away from the bk2. It's the jack of all trades, but a king of none. I say this because it's 1/4 inch thick, but the blade isn't long enough to baton branches/logs/etc that the 1/4" thick blade can handle because it's just not long enough. As cool as the 1/4" thick blade sounds, it's just idk. Just doesn't compare.

You could also look at swamp rat knives. Those things are flat out badass
