Best "ignorant food" ideas

Tyson makes these grilled teriyaki fillets, they're already cooked and are pretty tasty.

I used to nuke one up, put it on a bagel with a slice of cheese and head out the door.

One day I made some Mac & Cheese and chopped one of the fillets up and tossed it in.

One of the greatest ignorant food mixtures I ever experienced.

Slice of sharp cheddar cheese with hot apple pie.

Tiny bit of fresh cracked pepper on vanilla ice cream.

You're welcome.

Miracle Whip on mashed potatoes.

Pulled pork with a 50/50 mix of BBQ sauce and Catalina style salad dressing.

For some reason I get all kinds of grief for putting yellow mustard on sloppy joe sandwiches.

peanut butter and dill pickle sandwich is a 5 star meal
i was introduced to pepper on watermelon and its my go to now (with salt also). have also put old bay on it, but pepper is better.

old bay on microwave popcorn is my usual and when we have corn on the cob, old bay is on the table

and we do "super spaghetti", leftover pulled pork shoulder, chopped bacon, and pepperoni in red sauce.

not totally ignorant, but I eat kimchi with almost every dinner.

I think it is actually very traditional, at least in NE, but not that common. My mom always had a chunk of sharp cheddar with her apple pie (instead of ice cream).

My favorite in this category is a banana sandwich, which is just banana and mayo on bread. Super yum.

Another one I forgot about. Peanut butter and cranberry sauce sandwich.

One year I took all the leftovers the day after thanksgiving threw them all in the blender. Puréed them and used it like chicken salad to make sandwiches.

Root beer float without the root. Put four scoops of vanilla ice cream in a glass and add just enough beer to foam up and start the ice cream melting. It's bittersweet and delicious. If you add as much beer as root beer in a root beer float, it's undrinkable.

Mix it this way and I guarantee you won't like it. It needs twice as much ice cream and a quarter as much Guinness.

I've done beer and ice cream before. It's really good with some of the better craft beers out there. Try these:
- DuClaw Brewing's Sweet Baby Jesus and chocolate ice cream for a nice peanut butter cup taste
- New Holland Brewing's Dragon's Milk - It's a bourbon barrel stout that pairs really well with french vanilla. Bonus is that Dragon's Milk can be found in quite a few flavors that become nicely pronounced with ice cream: Cherry, Banana Coconut, Raspberry, etc... most flavors are limited release though, so you just have to see what's available at the moment
- Boulder Beer Co. 'Shake' chocolate porter. This one already tastes a bit like a chocolate milkshake, so it's perfect with ice cream.

Some of the more citrusy IPA's are also interesting with ice cream. Almost gives you a bit more of a sherbet flavor.
