Best knife around 50 to 70 dollars

My first step into this addiction was a Cold Steel Recon 1... abused the heck out of it for months and it held up well before giving it to a family member, great knife for the money.

Personally, I'd try to save the extra $30 and grab a Spyderco Para-Military 2 or Zero Tolerance 0350... my favorites that I carry at the moment, both about $100. (ZT0350 Blems are about $85 if you can find them though)
PM2 is probably the better EDC knife though depending on what you use your knives for, and definitely worth every penny.

Spyderco Native is in your range and it's even made in the US.

Beckerhead #42

For a folder in this range definitely the Manix 2. You can get an Endura or Delica on the low end of this range as well.

For a fixed blade, an ESEE Izula, KA-BAR Becker BK2 (or other Becker), or KA-BAR USMC. Lots of production fixed blades in this price range, so it depends more on style and purpose you have for it.

My advice to you: scrimp for a month, eat ramen, drive less, etc. Save yourself the extra $30 and get a PM2.

There is nothing like a PM2 when it comes to ergonomics.

Enduras are great as well. Multiple colors.
