Best Knife Fight Scene Ever!

I really liked the one from The Last of the Mohicans. One of my favorite movies. I felt the scene depicted skill winning out over enthusiasm. Also a good sense of justice.

Steve McQueen did a fight scene in a western he made. I forget who he fought but it was in the stockyards of some town. Best one bar none I've ever scene. Can't remember the name of the movie either. keepem sharp

That movie is called Nevada Smith. If I recall correctly, his opponent was Martin Landau.

Here's an obscure knife fight movie scene that many probably aren't aware of. The movie is The Ciderhouse Rules.

In the movie, Delroy Lindo portrays the leader of a group of African American migrant workers picking apples on an apple farm. A young worker with an attitude gets into a despute with Lindo's character and pulls a folding knife. After giving the young man a warning, the young man attacks, Lindo pulls his own folder and slices up the younger mans clothes, proving to the younger man that he is outmatched by the older, more experienced and skilled fighter, and convincing him to back down.

Lindo dialoge from the scene "What business am I in, I'm in the KNIFE business jack, and you don't want to be in any kind of knife business with me!"

Here is two fight scenes that I like

The under water fight scene from Thunderball is one of my favorites. They must have had forty or fifty divers fighting with knives and spear guns.

Yeah, I went into The Man from Nowhere with absolutely zero expectations. I hadn't heard anything about the movie before seeing it. That made the ending scene even better. The movie was pretty slow to build up though....

I like the fight scene from Showgirls. Absolutely not work (or family) safe, but if you want, google for it.

Not best fight, but some of the most brutal and graphic knife scenes are from mr. vengeance (Oldboy belongs to same trilogy). Includes cutting stomach / heel, gaping wounds with coloration before actual bleeding.

There is a movie that starred Burt Lancaster "I think" where he plays a Apache "Geronimo" if I remember there was a knife fight scene in it.

Le Pact des Loups (Brotherhood of the wolf) has some great blade work in it :). Lots of great flicks in this thread. Expendables has some good work too. And don't forget Monty Python and the Holy Grail - The black knight scene!! Lol.
