Best large(3.5"+) gentleman's knife under $600?

those are some knives in this thread. I think I will get the spyderco because my knife budget is running low. those higher end spydies are nice but some bm gold class are practically custom. maybe even with better tolerances. they can afford better machinery than most custom makers. not trying to start a debate just a guess. I do dig axis lock. I got the gold class impel it is really nice. way too small for the op though. plus auto is like don't even go there in Chicago. great way to get arrested even though the blade is within spec go figure.
 
Here is a 4" folder that is "tactically classy". And also quite under budget, but very hard to find.

Chris Reeve Mnandi and/or benchmade auto Impel. They are both small, classy and sharp razors. Avoid the big or heavy ones. Save those for your jeans or when you go out hiking.
