Best locking folding knives....who likes what?

My two favorites this week are the Darrel Ralph Large Apogee and the David Boye Cobalt lockback.

I can't quit thinking that a knife will lend to much confidence if it has the ultimate strength lock. I think people wanna not think or make effort to be safe. I wish fixed blades were less threatening or whatever keeps them from being carried and used. A folder makes a small quick and wise slice or cut, removes sliver or prods something mysterious. When you guys talk like this I think of a guy wrenching and wrestling with a cut. Sharpness should always take the place of force and torque. I think people want an all in one super tool in they're pocket ,cause they always talking about lightness and portability too. I think the more stuff a knife or what-have-you can do the less it can do one thing well. I won't have a multi-tool, for instance.

From what I've learned here in the forums, I'd buy a left-hand REKAT SIFU or Pioneer, the truly ambidextrous BM Axis 710, a small Sebenza (or maybe an Apogee) and a Spyderco Starmate.

To be added on this list next year is a Rolling Lock Military and Sal's Martial BladeCraft Folder (MBCF) -- this maybe Spydie's first "tactical" folder!

My all time favorite folder (production) is the Buck Sawby from a few year ago.

Second place is a Kabar KALOX lockback with a bolter release.

Both are no longer made.

None of these would probably win strongest lock.

My Crawford Carnivour locks up as well as any knife I`ve seen . Very confidence building. Also the Mission MPF and the Sebenza seem to be in the same lofty class.
Be Sharp
