Love both of these! The 940-1 is up for sale if anyone is looking!

I gotta agree that the Crooked River is one helluva looker. I've got a Vicar that'll be here Tuesday that I'm hoping can give it a run for its money.

I'm also still partial to my first BM

The Vicar is a great knife! It quickly became one of my favorites. It's the only BM I own a Gold Class version of I liked it so much. To bad it got disco'd so quickly. Those lucky enough to have gotten one though seem to appreciate what a great knife it is.

Congrat's on scoring one!

Many thanks brother! Yea, I held off for a long time because I was blinded by my love for AXIS locks, but I'm so glad I picked one up. Such a smooth knife, I was quite impressed. I can't even imagine how the Gold Class version must feel, that's a dream knife my friend

I'm not familiar with all the BM models. I've owned my Grip for 3 years now and just starting to get into other models. What model is this. Very nice looking.

It's a Model 730 (I'm thinking...) Elishewitz-based Stryker from the late 90's.

Ya know something Darkera??? I feel the same way about the Foray. Got mine off the Exchange and I can honestly say the knife impressed the hell out of me!! It's a lot more knife than I thought it was going to be.
Fills the hand nicely for a smaller folder. Love the blade shape!
Excellent knife!

I was a bit underwhelmed when I first bought it, and even ended up buying a Crooked River later that day because I thought it was more what I wanted. But within a few days I really started to appreciate the Foray, and think it is the much nicer knife of the two. It's a great knife: perfect fit, classy aesthetics, and great blade. I'm sold on Benchmade now, because of the Foray.

Yup!! Mine is perfectly centered, no play whatsoever in any direction, has an amazingly even an screaming sharp edge and is a free dropper!!
Love the way the scales look and feel in the hand!
You're right brother, as I carried and used it I liked it more and more!!
Also has an awesome blade shape!
Just a great EDC blade!
Joe

Not sure how I've missed this thread all along....
I love the blade shape on the Ritter grips.

You have a lot of company. The Ritter blade is one of the best, cutting chores are easily done. Every serious Benchmade fan needs one or two.

Y'all know how much I love the 710 and bigger knives, which must be why I have four of them. There's something about its little brother 705 that I find almost more appealing. I'm presently somewhere it's more prudent to have an under-3" blade, so I brought my user with me--got three of the little guys.

I'm also practicing my imgur work-arounds on the iPad, so I shot a few pics and edited them to post here.
