:D

Could you tell me what the specs of the knife are please.

Thanks,
Kam

Kam, the blade is 12" of forged W2, fittings are 1084, OAL is 17-1/4" and the handle is fossil walrus ivory. I supplied the materials and Mark did the rest.

Mark and I are working on a collaboration right now, or Mark is, I've done my part :)

Thanks.

Can't wait to see the finished knife. You both create amazing knives.

Does Mark have a website?

Thanks,
Kam

Thanks, Man

No web site for Mark Holson, he is extremely talented but only makes 2 or 3 knives per year, less than 20 knives total. He is also a full time maker but lives on less money than seems possible :)

OK Hanson, my BS detector just exploded.

If this is correct, he should be working on The 21st Century Guide to living on less than $6 a day!

Peter, Mark's wife brings in some money but not much. Add about $25 per day to that.

Some folks can live on far less than most would think possible. House paid for, drive old car and just don't spend much money. Cost of living is pretty cheap here in the Ozarks :)

some serious looking bowies here...keep them coming for the poor guys like me to enjoy, please!

thank you, thank you, thank you...:) (drooling)

I'll have to remember that about the Ozarks when I go full time....lol

I was hoping Ari would post a few, and I think he still has this one. This large walrus hand axe bowie is one of my favorite Hanson's:

Mark Holson is a very talented maker and hopefully will pick up the pace a little bit. He spends a ton of time on each piece and it shows. Sorry I don't have a better photo, but Coop will be seeing this one after the sheath is made. :)
