Best Looking Delrin?

Like the old timers and uncle Henry's pretty good. But, the Case yellerhandle's have been in my pocket for years on a everyday basis.

These small Delrin Bucks were doubtless marketed for a specific gender. I find them unattractive. But it's the collection thing. I just scratch my bald head over pink knife much less, Lavender.

Wow. The Delrin pics are all over the place here. Keep 'em coming, fellas. Some very interesting stuff.

It is funny that you should mention Old Timers! It is also my favorite. I only buy natural material handled knives for my collection, except of course for my beloved Schrade Old Timers. I just love this design.

WOW 300bucks, those are bright. I had no idea Buck ever made anything in those colors.. When were they made ?

Good pics of the Schrades lwt210. Thats the coloring I like on the UH's...

I have only one delrin knife, a current production Case jack knife and I think it is quite classy looking:

"Seek yee long time"
Guyon,
3 1/2 years of serious searching for lavender Derlin, others during that time period. Have only one lavender, second set of others, have looked for lavender at least 3 more years. One of the jigged bones pictured is almost mis-stamped but "beggars can't be chosers".
ClipperBB.jpg

All Clippers have a plug of Delrin scale material that sticks through a hole in the brass liner for the scissors to rest on. All that is except for the jigged bone. It has nickle,SS or AL plug specially inserted. Blue Derlin pictured

If I ever see a lavender Buck at a gun show or flea market, I'm on it for you.

Thanks Guyon,

Here's the science that goes along with this thread.

Delrin - Polyoxymethylene - or (POM) - -(-O-CH 2 -)-

also known as polyacetal,acetalresin,polytrioxane,polyformaldehyde
described as a light-weight, low-friction, wear-resistant thermoplastic with good processing properties and capable of operating in temperatures in excess of near 200 degrees F.(90C)

http:www.reference.com/browse/wiki/Polyoxymethylene

I know, I know, more than you wanted to know..... now lets get back on track and see some more POM photos...
