It'll work, yes; so will 3 in 1 etc.
Hoppes 9, BreakFree - they'll work.
Thing about Militec, FP-10, and I believe Tuf Glide too, is that once they dry they leave no residue. Zero.
So, they do not affect the tolerances.
Also, they don't attract & collect lint, dust, etc.
They are very easy to find on-line. ebay, MidwayUSA, etc.
I think you also might be able to find them in the hunting/fishing department of the Sports Authority and places like that.
