Best movie knife/sword wounds

My favorite "dude getting worked" scene doesn't involve a sword at all. It's the scene in "Braveheart" where Mel Gibson rides his horse into one of the Noble's bedrooms, and mashes his skull flat with a flail. WHOCK! The most total-ownage onscreen moment I've ever seen.

Ohh, the scene in Aguirre: The Wrath of God where one of Aguirre's henchmen decapitates a would-be deserter/mutineer... the severed head whispers a last numeral, as the victim was counting while he met his demise. Unrealistic, but cool in a macabre way.

And in that same film, Klaus Kinski injured a fellow cast member with a stage sword... had the fellow not been wearing a helmet at the time, it would have been lights out!

Ichi the killer, Lone wolf and the cub series... you gotta love the japanese gore films... and main maiming equipment in those: Beautiful japanese katana's...

The most gorest was japanise 13 episode series, animated few years old. Pretty realistic. You had everything from beheadings, to side head slashing, guttings and all internal organs detailed way to drawn, that series made Predator look like Sesame Street. But like most Anime's sword action was overshoot and quite amazing... After watching Japanese flicks and series... Highlander, Conan and Rob Roy did lost some appeal.

When it comes sword and sword wound films, japanese make the best...

The scene in Terminator 2 in which the T-1000, impersonating John Connor's foster mom, silences her husband in a very direct fashion.

Are all you "kids" too young to remember Basil Rathbone and Errol Flynn in their famous sword fight in one of the Robin Hood movies of the 50's? These two men had several where they were toes-toes and nose-nose Cooter
A great sword fight, but the movie was actually released in 1938, and I believe Flynn and Rathbone wielded their own weapons!

What about the end scene in Excalibur when Mordrid impales King Arthur on a spear, and Arthur pulls himself up the shaft to kill Mordrid with Excalibur. Tons of red blood against all that gleaming armour--WHHEEEWWW, what a scene! Mordrid says, "Come father, let us embrace at last!"

I like every one mentioned above and would only add the knife fight scene with David Carradine in The Long Riders.

According to me best movie knife is Cobra Movie Knife. This knife is one of the unique and dramatic knife design. This particular knife design was ordered by Sylvester Stallone himself for the movie Cobra released in 1986. This knife was designed by Herman Scneider. this knife was also used extensively in the movie “Night Slasher”.
have a look on this knife:
