Best Multitool...

I've carried a Leatherman Pulse for over ten years and before that I carried SAKs. The Pulse is pretty tough, but it's showing its age and I'm looking for a replacement.

I recently was looking into getting another multi-tool for work.

I currently have been using my LM Charge Ti for 7 years.

I've looked at the other manufacturers, but I'm always looking back at LM. I may settle for the new Wave or Surge.

Gotta say my favorite "Multi-tool" is my Victorinox Fieldmaster SAK. Never leaves my pocket and has fixed everything I've needed to fix on the fly for the past 2 years. Before that I carried a Leatherman Charge and before that a Vic. Swisschamp. I still have them both but only take the Charge when I know for sure I'll need it. For EDC its too big and heavy on my belt.

I really like the Victorinox SwissTool X. I also have a Leatherman Super Tool 200, but haven't used it much since getting the SwissTool X.

Leatherman Surge. Really great tool. A bit heavy if you're looking for one to EDC, but I think the Surge is the most solid and reliable multitool I've used.

Can't just pick one but 2 of them are
Leatherman ( if something just got jacked up and I'm out on my motorbike)

H.E.S.T ( if I'm campin needin to start fire, clean fish, break wood, open bottles of gueniess )

Assumeing ur a PJ u may enjoy a 5 or HEST

I have a Leatherman Wave and Leatherman Surge. I carry the Wave in my computer backpack every day. The Surge is in my backup bag.

I carry a Gerber Multiplier in my daypack when hunting or hiking. I think the Leatherman has finer tools and workings, where I like the Gerber in the woods, where dirt and what-not might otherwise bind up tighter tolerances.

I've have several Leathermans over the years, but currently carry a Gerber EOD model. I also work in the explosives industry. I plan on buying the new MUT EOD when it becomes available. Of course, since I work with explosives these models are best for me with their specific tools.

Carry a Leatherman Charge TTi or a Leatherman Juice S2 everyday and I don't have a bad thing to say about either one.

The 5 was my first purchase, but my Gerber just shit the bed. Looking for the best all around multitool that will last as long as my 5...

My Charge TTI or my Wave. They are both great hard working tools, I particularly like the screwdriver bits, always seem to work. I've also dealt with their customer service and have to say they are great to deal with. We sent three tools in from work, one got patched up and cleaned, and two got replaced. Great people over there.

I normally carry a Leatherman Wave based tool. Wave, Charge TTi or ALX. Tried the Surge but it was too big for me.

I also carried a Gerber 600 series for a long time and it was a good tool but not as user friendly as the Wave with it's outboard mounted blades.

Looking forward to the upcoming Multitasker EDC tool.

Mike how far out is the EDC for them? Their stuff looks well made and Dave said you really like yours.

Love my charge tti, it's my EDC. Make sure your pliers close right though, I had to send mine in shortly after purchase.
