Best Old School Pocket Knife? Who would it be?

"old school" is relative. For me it's not so much who, but what... and for me that's a medium stockman, non stainless.

I would like to know what brand of pocket knife would you carry or do you carry today? What model and if you've got a photo post it.

My favorite knife would be the Old Case my Dad gave me. He carried it everyday and that is more important to me that any expensive tactical knife I own.

Thanks for the sharing of your experiences!
No photo but I usually carry a zt562/spyderco manix XL, and a gec#15 jackknife

My first ever knife was a keychain sized no-name 4-H scout knife, my first "real" knife was a SAK, a Wenger Backpacker. I carried a few other things here and there, most of my upper-teenage and adult life I've been carrying a Leatherman Wave. I've just recently started trying other things out again, I put a few RR kit knives together, currently carrying a 110 clone and I've got a toothpick restoration project about to start so I'm sure once I finish that it'll get a turn in my pocket.

For now I'm trying different things just for the fun of it, but I'd like to eventually settle on a leatherman as my main knife and a small traditional to ride in the watch pocket.

I've had this Uncle Henry for about a half a century, so I guess it's old school.

I'm not sure of how many knives I have. The last two years I've been acquiring GEC knives. But, the knives I've carried for most of the last 50+ years have been either SAK's or the Buck 110. The 110 was in a belt sheath during my Coast Guard enlistment, and during my 22 year career in the fire service. When wearing dress pants there is a SAK Tinker in my front pocket, less dressy pants have a SAK Farmer in a pocket slip.

Schrade Old Timer 80T.

I bought this knife new in 1980 for $14.00. Best carbon steel knife I've ever owned and I'd put it up against any of the other many, many, 'Old School' pocket knives I've had by any maker.

Pried a paint stuck window open with it one time. Bending the blade at least, if not more than, 45 degrees in the process. The window finally popped open and the blade sprang right back to true. Easily takes a razor edge as well.

I haven't carried it since probably '82 when I moved on to collecting Case. Funny how 99.9% of that collection and every other one of my users from back then is long gone but I still have this awesome tool.
