Best online store

In my experience, cutlery shoppe has best prices, but knifeworks has faster shipping every time.

I'd have to agree. Jeff does pretty darn good but I've yet to order from KW and not have the item ship the same day. Ordered a new BM 741 from them on Tuesday and it was just delivered this afternoon. They definitely hold the speed record on shipping.

I'm in Canada and S&R is my first choice. They have the lowest prices in Canada on Spydercos, and are wicked fast with communication. AFAIK you also won't get stuck paying Canadian taxes since you're shopping from the US.

Exactly. I will typically pay more at knifeworks just because I know I will get it sooner. If knifeworks doesn't have it, my next stop is cutlery shoppe, though I will probably try new graham next, as I hear good things about them.

knifeworks
newgraham
knifecenter
All three are great

Avoid spydieguys.com like the plague.

I love Knifeworks. Roger and his girls are great and interesting to talk to if they have the time.
I'd guess you didn't pay a lot more at KW? Usually their prices are close, if not the best.

In all my searching on this subject I have never seen a negative comment about New Graham.
Just did my first order with them (only place I could find Sack Ups). Got a Stretch too and some other things. Ordered Wednesday arrived Friday. Have to check prices, they seem a tad higher than some.

Cutlery Shoppe - Great experience there.

Knifworks also has been top notch, as well as poorfish.

I will not use yourcornerstore.com. They cannot verify availability of their own inventory (I don't think they handle any of their knives - think they order from a warehouse and have them drop-shipped). Their website might say they have 2 items left, but they cannot confirm in real time, as they knives are not there with them (even when calling via phone they cannot verify). Ordered a knife that their website said was in stock and it turned out not to be. Cancelled my order and it took almost a full month for them to credit my account. Their prices are great, but that experience turned me off.

Jeff at Cutlery Shoppe was able to pull my knives off of the shelf while I was on the phone with him and confirm that he had them. He also sent me a Spyderco catalog, keyboard calendar and a carabiner as freebies. Pretty cool.

Another vote for Tom Berry but I have used Cutlery Shoppe and Knifeworks too - They all are top notch dealers. The one element that takes me to Tom Berry for Spyderco's almost all the time is the personal service he offers. That is big time value added . . . Tom is my Spyderco dealer of choice for that reason.

Thanks for the info. Im getting my list together now. When my refund arrives im going spydie shopping!!

+1 on cutlery shoppe. I ordered my sage from them and got an awesome deal. Ordered on Friday and came to me on Monday. Great experience.

I've dealt with BladeHQ/BladePlay (same folks) several times. Good service and many items not available elsewhere. However, I don't think they generally have the best prices on Spyderco, except maybe the autos.

Thanks to those who mentioned Cutlery Shoppe. Nice to have another reliable vendor to add to the list.

It may be worth restating that Amazon should be the first place to look IF
1. You are looking for a relative common knife (particularly Spyderco)
and
2. Price is the most important factor to you.
The ones labeled Ships from and sold by Amazon are almost always the cheapest price you can find by far and usually qualify for free shipping ($25 order).
However, this does not apply to items sold by their affiliated vendors. Those vary a lot and my experience has been the price is not particularly good and the vendor shipping fee is sometimes way to high.

Don't know about the states, but Warriors and Wonders in Vancouver is the best source for Spyderco knives in Canada. The store carries every model Spyderco makes at the best Canadian prices I've seen.

Yep.
Really, no other store in Canada even comes close.

I have very good experience with New Graham Knives, Knife plus, knifecenter, and Tom Berry.

I like KnifeWorks alot! But if I can get free shipping from Amazon then I'll usually order from them first. I have a Caly3 on the way from Amazon.

Warriors and Wonders in BC is the best source for me, competitive pricing, accurate stock info and quick shipping.
