Best opening/closing manual folder experience?

I had an Automatic Boker Kalashnikov.

Next, I bought a Spyderco Endura 4. I love the blade performance, but due to the friction of the back-lock, it's a bit hard to open it thunder fast.

Because of that, I'm looking for a manual EDC that would be a delight to flick open and close...

Any recommendations there? I would prefer something similar to the Endura, preferably in the sub-200$ range, but i could spend more if justified.

Thank you in advance.

Pretty much any non-lockback Spyderco will be a lot of fun to play with. Especially one with a compression lock.

My. Est experience is the CRK sebenza and Inkosi but those are out of the budget limit
For sub 200 $ I think spyderco PM2 and Benchmade Griptilian are good options

PM2, BM 940 or anything with an Axis lock, ZT 450 or 452, Domino..........

Spyderco G10 knives other than lockback are very fast to flick open. Some people like to play with flippers. And the Benchmade axis locks are also easy flick.

Both of my Southern Grind Spider Monkeys (Carbon Fiber and Special Edition Pure Copper) are my smoothest and easiest to flick knives. Very fun to flick open and closed. No wrist action required. The carbon fiber runs about $220 and the copper substantially higher and honestly overpriced, but I love it. Next up under $200 are any of my Spyderco PM 2s or my Boker Mini Kwaiken. My Zero Tolerance 450 and Benchmade Mini Grip (gray and blue G-10) also flick open nicely, but they're just not as satisfying or fun to fondle.

My sprint run Milli seems to want to fly out and snap into action much faster than any sprint run PM2 which I own. However when it comes to closing, the PM2s handily beat the Military version and you don't want to get too cute with the fast closure of your Milli anyway because of its liner lock arrangement. If you don't like tip down only carry, liner locks and / or the Milli is too large, I would concur with those who have recommended the PM2 for the purpose of your OP.

Benchmade Axis lock anything. 940 is a great one, mini Grip is fun, Stryker is fun, etc...

I can't help but flick my Ritter mini Griptilian open and close. Whenever that's in my pocket it's an addiction. Open, close, open, close, open, close. The action is phenomenal. I end up having a little contest with myself to try and get it to close silently.

Pm2, griptilian, and 940 are my only edc's at the moment. Smooth manual openers are my thing for sure. Looks like there is a pattern forming here.

i know what you are saying about the endura, but it does break in and get much easier after some time. however, if you dont mind a smaller blade, try a delica or maybe even a spydero native. the delica opens a bit easier than the endura since its smaller, the action on it is much better than the endura right out of the box in my opinion. also the new spyderco
stretch 2 is coming out soon and that should probobly be pretty smooth to open and close as well.

Not to start anything, but the Zero Tolerance ZT0801 is hard to beat for shear flipability, if that's a word.

+1 on ZT0801

Add ZT 0562 to your list.

Echo whats already said about Axis lovk folders. Man they are fun to open/close and can be as smooth as any other folders. I would seriously consider kw exclusive 710-1401, 940-1501, and Ritter grip in m390 full size or.mini.

Spydie hole can be fun to use as well. Can not go wrong with any variants of Mlitary or PM2.

Back lock knives like the endura are a downer, in my experience PM2 is great though. Can easily flick it open and quickly close it without having to concentrate. The military is very good but requires more force to flip, is scarier to spyder drop, and closing is not as fluid as the PM2 however you can pop the blade right down onto your thumb because of the choil so the overall experience is still pretty chill compared to most knives. The manix 2 is stiffer to open and the ball lock takes a lot of force to close, it's much much stiffer than a benchmade axis lock which by the way is fun to play with however I'm not the biggest fan of their knives after owning a griptilian for many years before discovering spyderco.
