Mine never did but a little 3000 and 5000 grit fixed that, now it'll flick like a PM2.i know what you are saying about the endura, but it does break in and get much easier after some time. however, if you dont mind a smaller blade, try a delica or maybe even a spydero native. the delica opens a bit easier than the endura since its smaller, the action on it is much better than the endura right out of the box in my opinion. also the new spyderco
stretch 2 is coming out soon and that should probobly be pretty smooth to open and close as well.
