Best opening/closing manual folder experience?

Axis lock folders flick pretty well. But the best flicker, when other knife factors are considered, is the PM2. Maybe the best ergonomics on the market and the best knife for the price.

Grab a Benchmade with an Axis lock.

SG Spider Monkey is nice too.

Inexpensive and right up there, at least in my book, is the KaBar Jarosz folder. Not bad for the coin.

Spydiechef gives me something similar to the Sebenza's bank-vault feel.

I really enjoy my de-assisted Kershaw Blur. You can get the s30v version for under 100 bucks ( under 80 if you look around). A lot of bang for the buck IMO.

For repeatability, anything Axis lock as others have mentioned. So long as your spring is in good condition, blade deployment is guaranteed to be fast...
The PM2 opens fast too, but is not quite as repeatable (my finger will slip off the Round Hole from time to time). I find it to be more fun than an Axis, however...

i know what you are saying about the endura, but it does break in and get much easier after some time. however, if you dont mind a smaller blade, try a delica or maybe even a spydero native. the delica opens a bit easier than the endura since its smaller, the action on it is much better than the endura right out of the box in my opinion. also the new spyderco
stretch 2 is coming out soon and that should probobly be pretty smooth to open and close as well.
Mine never did but a little 3000 and 5000 grit fixed that, now it'll flick like a PM2.
