best paint for Little Giant hammer?

I will readily admit that I think Lindsay's shop is just AMAZING.

But that's really more of a beautiful tool museum/display case than a shop.

As much as I like a clean shop and nice tools, you simply can't use that type of equipment and keep it THAT pristine and clean. I sure wish 'ya could! :D

He has done a simply fantastic job restoring his tools. I'd kill to have just one of those mills and lathes!!!

That is sure the truth - what a beautiful place. A place you could just sit and admire for years. Wow! I often wish I felt like I could take the time to go through all my tools and "unify" their colors and finish like you apparently have Nick. But instead my shop is a total hodge-podge of color and finish - all original. ;) Dividing up my time is one of the hardest things I have to do, and when push comes to shove I just make stuff and sweep up the mess.

I sure am looking forward to the finished LG. I like the powder coat idea personally, and would powder coat everything I have if I was going to have a nice, spiffy shop. If nothing else, and I know you're going to do this anyway, make sure the finish on the LG coordinates with the finish on the rest of your tools! :)

Nick,
I'll pass along your kind comments to Sid when I see him this afternoon. To bad you couldn't make it to the rebuilding course. They are always good times. I'll try and post some pictures when I get back.

I'm planning on picking up some parts for my 100 this weekend. I need a sow block mostly.(ouch) I've already got most of the other parts. We'll have to compare them when we get them done.

There's just something about rebuilding these old hammers. That makes it worth while.
