Best place to buy Opinel knives is Smoky Mountain Knife Works - best prices and selection on Opinels, and they have a few Mora knives too.

Best place to buy Mora Knives is Ragweed Forge. Incredible selection of Moras, and he sells a few Opinel models too.

Homer, be very carefull, getting involved with either Opinels or Mora's are habit forming. It's a weird kind of shock to use a cheap knife costing less than a couple beers at your local bar, and having them cut just as well if not better than some very high dollar knives. It can be an awakening of a sort.

I have had many excellent transactions with Ragnar of ragweedorge. Great customer service. He has a wide range of Moras and other scandinavian knives, but not all the fancy-wooded Opinels.

Ragnar is great even for Canadians!

Bensbackwoods is a fine company.

The Mora's may be cheap now BUT after you discover that you have bought one of each model you will do the math and come to find out that you paid twice as much as even the most expensive custom knife out there.
