I found something I like almost as much as knives & that's flashlights.

Where do you guys grab your torches?

Thanks,

Its been a while since I bought any new torches.

Have you spent any time at Candle Power Forums ? Its a great forum and they have a classified section where you can pick up some smokin buys once in a while...

:thumbup:Thanks for all the replies everyone!

I normally go for Knifecenter or find them on the exchange. There's a member here who's a Surefire dealer. I bought a couple lights off of him, great guy to deal with. I don't know what his user name is. :o

Damn Josh,Everytime I see your sig it just keeps getting bigger & bigger & bigger!:D::p

BrightGuy is a great place to browse. They have an excellent format with detailed specs on their products: lumens, battery life, operating instructions, all organized by company and battery type.

Unfortunately, this thread reminded me to take a look there myself and bingo! another neat Fenix to buy.

For Fenix Lights, Felinevet is great to deal with, and a good portion of the funds goes to helping animals. For some of the more inexpensive but nice lights, I've had good luck ordering from ShiningBeam and GoingGear, aka storl. As for Surefire, BatteryJunction is the only place I go.

When I bought my first PD30, I ended up having a problem with it. Luckily I was able to return it to the dealer for a refund because if I had to send it to Fenix for warranty repairs I would have had to pay the shipping fees to send it off to China (not to mention the wait time). I've been contemplating buying a new Fenix (those new PD20s with the pocket clip look pretty sweet) and have been eyeing 4sevens.com because they themselves honor the 2 year warranty for Fenix lights. If you have a problem with the light they themselves will fix it or replace it for you. Haven't personally done business with them yet, but that seems like a pretty sweet deal from what I've found :)

Thanks again for all the great suggestions.I like "Brightguy".,very easily navigable site, good prices & huge selection.Felinevet is a good source too, cause it goes to a good cause.

I don't understand why Surefire is so much more, when it seems they offer less lumens for the money.

Brightguy has a good selection, and I have bought many toys there.

But for lights that 4sevens.com com carries, I always go there. Good stuff, especially the Quark and Tiablo lights, plus rechargeable batteries and chargers. Free shipping.

I got my Surefire from Sportsmans, great little flashlight, puts out huge amount of light, small and lightweight. I paid about $95.00 for it. I prefer to buy stuff Made in USA so I went Surefire, but regardless have heard good stuff about Fenix lights.
