I am looking for a reputable website to order about 6 or 7 knives from... I tried YCS last time while it was ok i feel there may be a better place to order from? Im placing the order tomorrow I was thinkin about using knifeworks.com this time are they a good place?

Also how can i CONFIRM an item is in stock?

And will they ship all the knives in the same package if I order them?

I recommend Knifeworks VERY highly.
Roger is very efficient and if you shoot him a mail and confirm availability you will be ok.
I have had numerous orders shipped to me from Knifeworks with never a worry. I know that there are many forumites who would agree......
Good luck with your order and post pics when they arrive......:)

I am a big Spyderco fan so I don't think that you can go wrong with your choice there.
As for your others I cannot comment because I have never owned any.
My advice would be to post your list in the Spyderco Forum and ask for some suggestions. You could also post in the "General" forum.

I like Kershaw, Lone Wolf, Zero Tolerance and of course Spyderco.

Personally I think it is better to purchase fewer but better knives. I think that quality is always better than quantity........

Good luck again on your choice......feel free to message me if I can be of any help:)

Your best bet to ensure that they have the knives in stock is to place your order via phone. That way they can tell you if it is in stock.

Several of the dealers have updated on-line inventory numbers-like New Graham. I wish that all on-line dealers had accurate inventory on-line like New Graham.

Personally, I have found it very frustrating to place an order at other dealers and then they tell me that I have to wait due to out of stocks. Sometimes, they do not even bother to tell you!

321, Mike from New Graham Knives here. Our online inventory numbers are "usually" accurate. Causes us more problems than the customer when they are off, but sh!tsky does happen no matter how hard we try to be accurate. If you are considering us, feel free to call us tomorrow when we are open (10AM EST). We'll be glad to eyeball inventory so there is no disappointment on either end.
Regards, Mike

New Graham and Knifeworks are my preferred places to do business with. I've never had a complaint with either, and if you order early enough both will usually ship same day.

I've never had reason to have to call Knifeworks about an order, though I've heard that their customer service is outstanding. Twice I've had minor problems with New Graham orders (one completely my fault and the other was UPS's fault) and the folks there are great to deal with. My problems were fixed immediately and I got my knives two days later. I even stayed on the line talking knives with Mike for about twenty minutes once.

Both seem to have pretty accurate inventory systems as well. There have been times that New Graham's site has said there was one knife in stock and I bought it, then refreshed the page and it said it was out of stock, so I trust their system. There will always be computer errors in any real time inventory system so your best bet is to give them a call for your piece of mind.

Jeff from Cutlery Shoppe has offered me excellent service. The prices are very competitive. You may check that out. Thanks.
