Best SAK for edc?

You need to be a paid member of BladeForums.com in order to upload images and such. The best way around that is to upload to a image hosting website, then post the img share link in your reply.

Before you upload the image, resize it to 800 pixels, but keep the aspect ratio so your image won't be stretched in any way.
oh, thank you!!1

That's a great knife baliflipper

If you hadn't picked that one already I would've recommended the Super Tinker. It's the same but it has a pair of scissors down the middle (makings it 3 layer) and the addition of a parcel hook on the bottom side. It's my favorite red handled variant for day to day activities and comes with a pouch to boot.
I saw that one before, i just never use scissors, thanks for the suggestion though!! :p

Hey baliflipper02, are you aware of the hole for inserting a strait pin?, it's located where the corkscrew, or Philips screwdriver is.

Tinker or Super Tinker if you want scissors, those are my city options (Alox Cadet is nice too). For camping a Hiker or Field Master, Outrider if you want a locking blade.

Best SAK for edc would be 2 SAKs!

Seriously I carry a Manager around my neck and a Pioneer in my pocket.
Between those two, I've got more or less everything edc covered. Having two also means the weight and bulk is spread out, therefore a lighter carry.

Manager
- Pen
- Small blade
- Scissors
- Flat head screwdriver with Nail File
- Small Philips screwdriver (great for smaller screws) with a bottle opener
- Tweezers

Pioneer
- Main blade
- Can opener with flat head(great for larger philips screws the manager can't handle)
- Bottle opener with large flat head (awesome for light prying)
- Awl, which is the best awl I've ever used (not to mention it can be used as a dirty scraping blade things such as tape or poking in things)

For the small one it could be a Manager or Rambler, both are good and the choice depends on the need for a pen.
The small SAK could be on a keyring or around neck.

For the larger one there are plenty of good choices - Farmer, Pioneer, Cadet, etc.

But the basic idea is a good one for carrying a slimmer SAK.

Knowing SAKs come with so much configurations, I think is a personal election.

I recommend a Alox or EcoLine (nylon) scales for forgetting about cosmetic damage and thinking on it about a tool and not an EDC Item collectible.

My choose: Camper EcoLine.

My SAKs: Pre 2009 Tourist Cellidor scales, Safari Trooper Stag, Alox Pioneer, Excelsior bring from Switzerland by my father and a Soldier 2008.

Cheers

SAKV.
