Here is a video of sharpening a large kitchen knife on a plastic prototype.

The sharpener is designed for knives with a blade up to 5-6 inches (13-15cm), but it makes it possible to work with large knives with a sufficient thickness of the blade (it has only one clamp and thin blades will bend during sharpening).

350 Euros = 375 US dollars.
If Gritomatic sold them for US$200, I would order one instantly, but US$375 is too much from a web site that we seem to have no experience with.
